SPAZIO ALPINO
The
main purposes of the project are: improving
the quality and usefulness of the Alpine
Zones in some model areas, through the reduction
in pollution and the offer of an eco-compatible
and high quality tourism, aiming to offer
alternative solutions of mobility whether
inside the mentioned areas or starting from
the origin of the moving.
The Veneto Region, with this project, is
engaged in developing these two points:
Information
about possibilities of alternative transport,
towards the Alps, in the places of origin
of the moving;
Improvement in the logistics of travellers'
transport;

In
the Veneto Region, the task of following the
project operatively and of developing the
pertinent researches about traffic, has been
entrusted by the Region to the Dolomiti Bus
SpA Research & Study Service which, with
the collaboration of the Belluno Province,
has set up a program of activity composed
of the following points:
execution of some researches about consistency
and characteristics of the excursionist demand
in the weekends;
introduction of measures for a better interconnection
among the different sections of the public
transport offer;
presentation of some important experiences
in the building of regional centres of traffic
management and in the realization of integrated
informative systems transport-booking for
hotel-bookings.

Researches
about excursionist flows towards the Dolomites
have been made so far together with analysis
about the Dolomites Passes. For the former,
a schedule and the way to spread it have been
considered and predisposed, for the latter
the places of prominence in the roads of the
"Dolomites big circuit" have been
determined.
